Elsewhere, the consistency of updates and the understanding of which access point models ran which versions got somewhat out of hand too. In the past, one single firmware update would be released for all models, with some occasional delay for certain variants - but it did manage to catch up a few weeks later.
However, with so many varying models now, the disparity between which models get which version is a bit messy. For example, the top end U7 Pro Max didn't see a GA release between August and now, whereas the U7 Pro saw various updates in December and January.
8.0.19 makes the jump from the 7.x releases and various 8.x versions have been in testing for around a month. 8.0.19 runs on the following models:
On the community release post, Ubiquiti says that this update adds support for Multi-Link Operation (MLO) on supported models, as well as much needed stability improments for 2.4GHz IoT devices.
