Ubiquiti launches three new Enterprise WiFi 7 APs
Ubiquiti has today revealed the E7, E7 Campus and E7 Audience
December 2, 2024
Ubiquiti has recently released UniFi 7.5.176 to GA and here at HostiFi, we have now pushed this release out for new customers.
This means, when you sign up for HostiFi, the default version of software it'll come with will be UniFi 7.5.176. Existing customers can go to the HostiFi portal and manually upgrade ahead of the usual mass upgrade we are planning to do soon. Simply go to app.hostifi.com, open your existing UniFi server, click tools and then you can choose the version your server will be on.
What is new?
UniFi 7.5.176 has all of the same new features and enhancements from the last version of UniFi we spoke about with 7.5.174. However, we did have to pull that release due to issues with WiFi networks not being broadcast. However, Ubiquiti has since fixed that issue.
In addition to what was brought with 7.5.174, UniFi 7.5.176 also fixes an issue that could prevent users from logging into the application when using Safari on macOS and an issue has been fixed which prevented the USG models from getting WAN DNS servers provisioned correctly.
The full release notes for UniFi 7.5.176 can be found here.
HostiFi provides hosting for both Ubiquiti and TP-Link software-defined-networking (SDN) applications, with servers for UniFi, UISP and Omada. We also offer professional networking consulting, with HostiFi Pro.
